Air Serbia, Aeroflot, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways are among the biggest customers NIS modern facility for storage and distribution of aviation fuel at Nikola Tesla Airport supplies the airlines landing at Belgrade airport, while Air Serbia, Aeroflot, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways are among the biggest customers. The jet fuel produced by NIS meets all required criteria defined under international and local standards for this type of fuel. NIS top quality product, JET A-1m produced in Pančevo Oil Refinery in line with international DEFENCE STANDARD 91-91 issue 7 has been also recognized by the customers in region. Therefore, significant quantities of this product have been placed on the Romanian market. The accredited laboratory operating under the Company's Aeroservis is equipped with modern equipment used in all processes starting from fuel receipt through storage and dispatch to tank trucks which fuel aircrafts. When it comes to reliability and speed of supply, Aeroservis has received high marks from the international association IATA in charge of control of all segments of air traffic. In cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, NIS supplied military aircrafts as well as aircrafts of Swifts aerobatic team “MIG 29” from the Russian Federation during the military parade and visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Belgrade.
