Oil Plants Staff Showcase Skills at NIS Training Centre

The event has been staged in NIS Training Centre, the first facility of this kind in Serbia that trains staff to operate oil processing plants. This event tested and upgraded the knowledge and professional skills of the staffers involved in the maintenance and servicing of drilling wels aiming at safer and more efficient work. This has also been an opportunity to underpin the reputation of this profession within the project to streamline the corporate culture in Oilfield Services Block. 40 staffers in eight crews took part in this competition. Other than theoretical part, the practical section of the competition was held at the Training Centre testing ground, its conditions fully coincide with real field conditions. The best ranking participants were awarded diplomas and certificates of merit. Background Info: NIS Training Centre for oil processing industry professionas was set up early 2015. Its purpose is to develop skills and give knowledge to the company staff member by way of simulation real-life conditions processes and operations in the field. The Centre is outfitted with drilling rig and workover facility with ful set of equipment and accessory tools. In its Training Centre, NIS in a pooled effort with the municipality of Zrenjanin and Ministry of Youth and Sports makes possible the conducting of professional practice for the studends of the Technical School in Zrenjanin, and in the forthcoming period this opportunity will be also granted to the students of oil processing department of the Technical School of the «Mihajlo Pupin» University in Zrenjanin.
