At the conference special attention was devoted to agriculture, automotive and ICT industries, energy industry and environmental protection. The event was an opportunity to further intensify cooperation of Serbian and French companies through the promotion of Serbia as an investment destination and presentation of Serbian companies. Nikola Radovanovic, Manager for EU Legislation represented NIS at the round table “Energy and the Environment”. On that occasion, activities of the Company and its business models were presented, with special reference to strong support of the European integration process which Serbia is currently undergoing. In that light, it was emphasised that NIS is intensively working to harmonize all aspects of its business operation with the European standards and regulations. Apart from NIS, the round table, moderated by a representative of the Franco-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, was attended by representatives of the companies "Veolia", "Schneider Electric", "CCIS", as well as representatives of the City of Zrenjanin and local project “Regional Landfill”.
