NIS wins Best Corporate Brand in the Best of Serbia Awards

Rasim Ljajić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications presented the award. The special significance of the award lies in the fact that it was determined by the votes of customers and a jury of experts, while also taking into consideration market and financial indicators. NIS being voted the best corporate brand in the Products and Business Services category once again is a great honour for the company, but is also seen by the company as an obligation to continue to pursue its commitment to improving the quality of products and services in order to meet customer needs and respond successfully to market challenges. Winners of the "Best from Serbia Award" This is the fourth time that NIS has been bestowed with an award for being the best domestic corporate brand. Furthermore, the company has received Best of Serbia awards for its two retail brands – GAZPROM and NIS Petrol. The Best of Serbia awards programme is run jointly by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications. It aims to identify the most successful domestic commodity and corporate brands as well as top exporters, events and start-up businesses. The awards programme was established in 2004 under the name “Best Serbian Trademarks”, changing its name to Best of Serbia in 2008 to reflect an expansion of its scope. Prior to this year’s awards, the programme had covered more than 1,700 brand nominations across a range of categories.
