The New Year and Christmas holidays provide an opportunity to do a lot, because even a small gesture can mean the world to someone. In this spirit, this year, NIS sent a donation to the Religious Charity Custody organization, thanks to which 120 vouchers were provided for the purchase of clothing and shoes for children from 120 socially disadvantaged families, i.e. multiethnic and single-parent families, beneficiaries of the services of the Religious Charity Custody.
The company employees – members of the NIS Volunteer Club, joined the traditional holiday campaign, as part of the “Slatko od srca” (“Sweet from the heart”) holiday volunteer campaign, collected sweets and salads for the users of the National Kitchen of the Religious Charity Custody, as well as for the users of the “Duga” (“Rainbow”) Daycare in Leskovac. In this way, NIS continues to show commitment to the community and provide support to the most vulnerable groups of our society in order to brighten the holidays for them.
In addition to this campaign, NIS and its employees have been organizing initiatives to support and distribute New Year’s packages to various groups of the company for 16 years.
NIS states that such humanitarian actions are only part of a wider initiative that the company continuously implements, with the aim of providing assistance to vulnerable members of society. “Through such projects, we want to contribute to better living conditions and provide assistance to those who need it most, especially in the holiday period,” NIS says.
