NIS markets several types of gas cylinders in Serbia with multiple purposes:2 kg, 3 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg (for household purposes) and 35 kg cylinders (for industrial purposes).

On the market of the Republic of Serbia, NIS offers several types of LPG cylinders, depending on their application, that is: cylinders for LPG with nominal filling of 2 kg and 3 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg (LPG for household use) and 35 kg (LPG for industrial consumers).

LPG cylinders are filled with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at four filling station locations: in Novi Sad, Čačak, Belgrade and Niš. LPG (propane-butane mixture) in cylinders is a mixture of propane and butane, where the propane content is at least 35% and the butane content is maximum of 65%, meeting the quality standard SRPS BH2 134.

New Method of Replacing LPG Cylinders

In accordance with the “Regulation on Pressure Equipment” (The Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia No. 120/2017) and internal company guidelines, empty LPG cylinders can be exchanged at NIS Petrol sales outlets for full ones with the purchase of LPG, and the purchase of empty LPG cylinders is also available. Our company supports the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and continues to prioritise consumer safety, particularly for household LPG cylinder users, strictly adhering to the applicable regulations.
